Hi there! We're the happy couple that brings you Making Room.
When we're not blogging, Alex works for the government and Emily is a PhD student and couple and family therapist. We met in 2005, started dating in 2006, got married in 2009, and bought our first house in 2010. Rounding out the family are our two pups, Piedmont and Mia. We enjoy updating and redesigning our house, hiking and camping, vacations with family and traveling to new cities together, and hosting dinner parties for friends.
